Dr. Baldip Sihota

In 2025, after nearly 20 years of practising dentistry across Ontario and southern Alberta, Dr. Baldip Sihota returned to her hometown of Edmonton to practise downtown at Seventh Street Dental. She takes a holistic approach to dentistry — gathering comprehensive health histories and looking beyond the teeth to consider her patients’ whole-body health and overall quality of life.

Dr. Sihota’s major focus is on cosmetic dentistry and ensuring that each client feels their best. She takes her time with her patients to understand their larger goals and believes in a minimally invasive approach — utilizing 3D imaging software to analyze root and bone positioning, and 3D intraoral cameras in place of traditional putty impressions. She also aims to reduce the practise of shaving down teeth for veneers, using that same digital technology to plan proper alignment using Invisalign before veneers are placed.

Self-described as meticulous and personally invested, Dr. Sihota has committed herself to shortcut-free work, which creates better outcomes for her patients. She often collaborates with other providers, such as cosmetic dermatologists, to coordinate care for shared patients. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys giving back to the community, often volunteering as a Swim Alberta official to support children’s swim team meets. She also mentors undergraduate and dental students from MacEwan University and the University of Alberta, drawing on her prior teaching experience at a dental hygiene school in Ontario.
