Aness Handous established Tailored Interiors in 2015 with the goal of elevating interior spaces for her well-established clients. Her business started out in home staging before expanding to include interior design and then full-scale renovations and new builds. From initial sketches to the final creation of high-end homes and businesses, she and her team support the client every step of the way.
Handous’s designs have received recognition at international design award shows, sharing the stage with 5-star hotels such as the Ritz Carlton in Germany, Paris Marriott Champs Elysees, and Atlantis Dubai. One of her 2023 projects, the waiting room and reception area of Edmonton’s Nakatsui DermaSurgery, was shortlisted as the only Canadian entry for the Best Lobby at the Global Awards at the International Hotel and Property Awards.
Handous is on a steadfast mission to bring world-class luxury design to our city. In addition to her design services, Handous is busy planning a new venture: a massive 40,000-square foot pop-up shop in May 2026. The idea was inspired by client demand and curious website visitors wondering where she sourced furniture and decor for her projects. Her plan is to create showroom-style vignettes featuring furniture, decor, artwork, lighting and fine linens—all custom manufactured, interchangeable and cohesive.
