Glow Christmas Festival
December 4 to 31 – Edmonton EXPO Centre
Step into a world of indoor holiday magic at this beloved festival. Wander through over 100,000 square feet of enchanting displays, including glowing trails, light tunnels, and massive installations. Meet Santa, enjoy live entertainment, and explore giant play parks, mini-golf, and a festive market. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert
December 12 & 13 – Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
Experience the epic conclusion to the original Star Wars trilogy like never before. The FILMharmonique Orchestra, featuring 78 musicians, will perform John Williams’ iconic score for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi as the complete 1983 film plays on the big screen. Candy Cane Lane
December 12 to January 2 – Nightly from dusk to 11 p.m. along 148 Street between 100 Avenue and 92 Avenue
For over 50 years, Candy Cane Lane has been a cherished holiday tradition. Drive, walk, or take a sleigh ride through this festively decorated neighbourhood, where homes are adorned with beautiful light displays. The event features special walk-only nights and serves as a collection site for the Edmonton Food Bank, welcoming non-perishable donations from visitors.


New Year’s Eve Downtown Festival and Fireworks
December 31 – Sir Winston Churchill Square
Ring in the new year with a free, family-friendly downtown festival! Enjoy live music, roaming performers, holiday activities, and an Oilers watch party. The celebration features two spectacular fireworks displays: an early family show and a traditional midnight finale.
